Descirption:

    When a boy named Percy Jackson school teacher turns into a monster and attcks him, his world is turned upside down. He discorvers that his life is surrond by greek mythology and that he himself is a half blood. He must prove to his uncle that he did not a steal his lighting blot. On the way he learns more about his self, makes new friends and fights monsters. 

Review: 

     The age you should read Percy Jackson is 9 & up. It teachs you about greek myth and how it can be incorporated into the real world. It has positive role models like Percy, a kid who was a nobody with ADHD and dyslexia that is in the end turned into a hero. It also has positive messages. It involves some violence, consumerism, drinking and smoking (but not a lot). Over all the book is great for kids and will also teach them about greek mythology.
